Associate Photographer package vs. package with kelsie jo

Associate Photographer Package

You may be wondering, what in the world does an associate photographer mean and why are these packages lower in cost?

An associate photographer is another experienced photographer that I trust 100% to capture your big day.

The coolest part - I still edit your photos! So, if you want to save on the cost but still get my style of editing... it's a win, win!

Before you start panicking, I choose only THE BEST and experienced photographers to capture your day. I have either worked with them several times during weddings, or I have taught them everything I know. The associate photographer will know exactly how I like things done and photograph you the way I would!

Although they are wedding photographers with their own businesses - they are carrying my name on your day, and I take that very seriously.

I will only be one phone call away if they or YOU have a question or concern.

My associates are fun, energetic, creative, patient, and will make you and your wedding party feel 100% comfortable.

All of your day to day questions before the wedding will be handled by me , including your wedding time-line, and engagement or bridal shoots.

Wedding packages with Kelsie Jo

I have truly enjoyed being a wedding photographer over the years. I've learned so much and have gained so many amazing friendships through it all. One thing that is extremely different in my life compared to day one vs. now - is my family! Now that I am in my 30's and no longer a young, unmarried, childless photographer - my time is very valuable. I want to spend all the extra time that I have with my husband and two beautiful children! I am still so incredibly happy and honored to photograph your big day (so don't let that reason stop you), but this is why my packages are higher in price. You will receive the full Kelsie Jo experience. This sentence always makes me laugh because I find it funny that people want my awkward, dad-joke loving, and quirky self on their special day. It truly does mean the world to me that my brides and grooms enjoy that part of my wedding services! Weddings can be really chaotic and stressful. I try my very best to keep nerves calm and the day full of light!

Whether you choose the Associate Photographer or "Kelsie Jo" experience package, I am thrilled that you have chosen me to be apart of your super special day!

Additional Information

If you are an Arkansas resident, I do have to add sales tax (from whichever county you live in). If you are out of state, you are tax exempt.

The retainer fee to book your date is 30% of the total. The balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding date or you can make monthly payments until then.

I do throw in a complimentary 16x24 canvas if the balance is paid in full at the time of booking!

FAQ

  1. Do you offer video? I do not. But, I do have a list of amazing videographers that I would be happy to send you!
  2. Can I customize a wedding package? Absolutely! If you want to add/remove things from a wedding package, we can totally do that! Just email me or ask me at your consultation.
  3. Can I add additional hours? Yes! You can do this the day we book your wedding or even the day of your wedding. Associate additional hours are $400 and Kelsie Jo Wedding Package additional hours are $500. We can also pro-rate for 30 minutes if needed.
  4. What is an engagement shoot and when should we take them? An engagement shoot is a photo session of just you and your wife/husband to be! These photos are typically used for announcements, invitations, and to display at your wedding. I suggest taking them at least 3-6 months before the wedding - but they can be taken anytime!
  5. What is a bridal shoot and when should we take them? A bridal shoot is a photo session with just the bride in her wedding dress. Since we don't have a full hour of time during the wedding to take pictures of just the bride - this session gives us more photo opportunities. You can also display your bridal photos at the wedding reception. Don't worry though, even if you do not do a bridal session, we will still have pictures of the bride by herself from the wedding! These can be taken 3-6 months before the wedding - but we can do them a few weeks before if you are waiting on your wedding dress!
  6. Is it important to have a second photographer? Honestly, yes. Could 1 person photograph the wedding and be fine, yes. BUT if you have the wiggle room - I highly suggest it. Sometimes my second shooters capture things that I don't see because I am photographing something else. We also have the ability to capture the bride and groom at the same time while the bride is walking down the aisle and during your "first look".
  7. Speaking of first look - Should we do that? - Okay, here's my spill on first looks. Whether you want to do a planned first look or keep it traditional (walking down the aisle) - that is completely up to you and 100% your decision. I will say...when you do a planned first look, it is much easier to do all of the family and wedding party portraits before the ceremony. This leaves more time for you after the wedding. If that isn't a big deal to you, then follow through with the traditional look! It does not affect me as your photographer either way!
  8. I have a wedding planner - can he/she contact you? - Of course! I love wedding planners! We can go over the wedding timeline together and get everything ironed out! I am pretty easy to work with.
